Teachers introduced to Olympism

GAMBANG: A total of 137 teachers from six Wesley Methodist Schools (Five secondary and one
primary school) were introduced to Olympism and Olympic Education.

The teachers, who gathered in Bukit Gambang Resort City for the annual Wesley Methodist School
Teachers’ Conference organized by the Methodist Education Council, were receptive to the
information presented to them by the Pierre de Coubertin Society of Malaysia (PCSM) entitled
“Olympism and Character Building”.

The three hour session on March 12th was divided into two parts; the first part was the introduction
to Olympism and the second part, a group discussion using the Open Space Technology on how to
implement Olympic Education in their schools.

For the first part, the teachers watched videos and were informed about the founder, principles and
values of Olympism by speaker, Nicholas Chan who is also the Vice-President of PCSM.

After imparting them with the basic grounds of Olympism, the teachers were then triggered to initiate a
group discussion using the Open Space Technology method. Topics like “Religion and Olympism”,
“Physical Education and Olympism” and “ICT and Olympism” were sparked and the teachers
brainstormed on how to get the message of Olympism through to their students. Each group
subsequently presented the outcome of their discussion.

At the end of the session, a survey was distributed and one of the questions asked was “Do you think
that Olympism can be integrated into the school syllabus?”. 97% of the teachers answered “Yes”.

When asked how would they describe the relevance of Olympism in a child’s upbringing, Cik Nur
Natasha Bt Muhamad Rani, a Mathematics teacher from the Wesley Methodist School in Seremban
wrote “It teaches the child to recognize the values of life through sports.” while Mr. Au Yong San
from the Wesley Methodist School in Melaka who teaches Geography and Art commented, “It would
inculcate the spirit of perseverance, tolerance, patience, competitiveness, cooperation and
comradeship.”.

Group discussions using the Open Space Technology Method.

This was the first time that PCSM was approaching teachers about Olympism and it proved to be a success as the teachers found Olympic Education to be relevant in the promotion of a balanced and holistic development of a child.

Out of the six schools that participated, two principals have already expressed their interest to organize an Olympism Outreach Program in their schools.- FAIR PLAY

Business Plan Chicken Farming

and debut in the theater ..

visit the theater was quite a great experience. The impression
had done an amazing orchestra seating at the scene, a man with the guitar is simply their favorite, but it was a bass guitar: D Even during the switch would look there, and Mr. Victor threw his pack of French fries - that was a small gesture whipster. Besides
delighted - a wizard at telling the story before the performance was hailed as Nicholas. Dancing girls have won their hearts, like pets and dwarfs - Santas:) Snow had done hardly impression that there was shooting over and over and behind. Do not frame you gave up in any storms that roared in the forest, naśmiewały in voice and cried even light the lamp again, while other children died of fright, I thought the pekna with laughter. The presentation started late, because at 17:30, so wytrzymaliśmy only to break that started a few minutes before the 19th To the great despair Stas, who shed bitter tears cried for Mikolaj, we are gathered home. No longer able to sit still, began to bore, they were hungry, thirsty (there was very stuffy and hot) and eat there shall be neither pic (French fries eaten after kindergarten). Morning told of girls, misiach, and twinkling lights Mikolajach - it was a great adventure, I think we walk on such events more often.

What To Do On A 9 Month Aniversary

Our debut in the cinema.

guys pass by themselves, getting up every day probably after five o'clock. Today wake up at 5:30 again. It's far too early, especially on the weekend. Then
are marudni, tired. Today in the fulfillment of the time we went to the cinema on the mornings for children. It was their first line-out to the movies. The most interesting thing for them, riding the escalator, we did probably a dozen Rundek up - down:). In the cinema it was hard to sit still for them, prefer to walk up the stairs. Stas wanted to turn on the light. The seats are a bit too big for them, because I was composed with them: D
after half an hour watching cartoons with bumper cars Wiktorek started awake, we are gathered before they fell asleep so. Then again a few stairs and went Rundek home. Kids happy, tired, ate soup and went to bed:)
Oh, and waiting for us wiyzta Wednesday at the Grand Theatre, we're going Snow White

Where To Buy Taiyaki Mold Japan

first day at kindergarten for us

Well, we already have preschoolers:) It was quite well.
morning in the house a little protest, did not want to get dressed. But the way we went about it was the stairs, and also fun. Ms. Mila opened the door for us and Victor began to moan a little. But relax their przebralismy and went on sale. Stas got the idea of \u200b\u200bnew toys, talked about mikoalaju, admonition, because the total is in the kindergarten Nicholas saw for the first time last winter. Vincie was a little scared, crying. But the departing lady and I left him. Before we came to the door no longer crying. And in the afternoon the boys excited. They did not want to get out, dragged us to the meeting and showed everything. Already began to learn English, hahahah, barely speak in Polish, and already walk and talk with beautiful accent, "Okay" and "Ian here ti" (one two three). Way to go! I think a lot of freedom to say and no zlobkowego regime and the small number of children. Until that afternoon, they were calm and not marudzili, which is a very special behavior. Ladies are also delighted with them - with such polite, as they slept so nicely, nicely eat, listen to August - a pity that only in kindergarten: D
Today Wiktorek tightly fought with each other, he tried not to cry, but it's a little rozmazal. However, he went to a meeting alone, not wczepial August in me like yesterday. From day to day will be better. It was a great choice!
